On October 5, 2010, Mike Peterson and his family dedicated the KaBOOM! playground at Grove Park Elementary School. The playground, the first ever on school grounds, was donated by the Mike Peterson Foundation.
Grove Park held a contest to determine which group of students would be the first to play on the new playground. Students in every grade collected drinks to bring to the wonderful volunteers who helped build the playground, and the 5th grade blew all the other grades away!
